Collectorless flotation of Chalcocite by controlling redox potential
Using microflotation method, this study explored the collectorless flotation of Chalcocite and its dependence on the redox potential of pulp . Electrochemical studies were performed by cyclic voltammetry in specific potential ranges and at different pH values. The results show that significant floatability of Chalcocite occurs in the specific reducing conditions. By increasing potentials, on t...
متن کاملActivation of a High-Valent Manganese–Oxo Complex by a Nonmetallic Lewis Acid
The reaction of a manganese(V)-oxo porphyrinoid complex with the Lewis acid B(C6F5)3 leads to reversible stabilization of the valence tautomer Mn(IV)(O)(π-radical cation). The latter complex, in combination with B(C6F5)3, reacts with ArO-H substrates via formal hydrogen-atom transfer and exhibits dramatically increased reaction rates over the Mn(V)(O) starting material.
متن کاملHow to Change the Redox Potential of Guanine?
Due to some important applications of guanine electrode in scientific and technology research such as electro-chemical DNA based biosensors, and a problem of high redox potential of guanine (0.81 V), our research study concentrates on reducing guanine redox potential by substituting Cu, Ag, Au, CH3, C2H5 and Cl on sites of 1, 2 and 9 of guanine. A 5.0% reduction...
متن کاملA catalytic asymmetric strecker-type reaction promoted by Lewis acid-Lewis base bifunctional catalyst.
A general asymmetric Strecker-type reaction is reported, catalyzed by the Lewis acid-Lewis base bifunctional catalyst 1. The reaction of trimethylsilyl cyanide (TMSCN) with various fluorenyl imines, including n-aldimines and alpha,beta-unsaturated imines, proceeds with good to excellent enantioselectivities in the presence of a catalytic amount of phenol as additive (20 mol%) (catalytic system ...
